So I just got my juvenile bearded dragon Mel (like yesterday). I don't know if it's a territorial male thing or not but every time I come close and open the cage he puffs up, his beard turns darker and he holds his arm up. I'm trying to be as patient as possible, but I would feel better if he would calm down a bit. He stares at the glass too, so I might cover that side.
EDIT: I covered up some of the glass and he seems a bit calmer but I don't really want to jinx it rn.
