Hey guys,
I have 2 female beardies, both about 3 years old. They normally get along without issues, but this last week they have been getting a little aggressive with each other. Now, all of a sudden Vexus, the normally docile, submissive one, is having a fit! She runs around her tank like a crazy lizard, rubbing her face on the glass. I take her out and she does the same, running around the house, unless she sees the sliding doors, then she rubs her nose against the glass (she's doing it right now). She's very dark, puffed up, and the black beard is almost constant. She eats, poops and doesn't try to bite (yet), but I don't understand why she's so angry all of a sudden. The only change lately is that my son had a friend over yesterday (they hate when we have people over, but usually calm down once they leave). It's nearing the end of winter here, but their tank temp and lighting schedule hasn't changed. Any ideas what's wrong with my sweetie?
