Hmmmm, that part looks like it's dying. Was it like that when you had the arm surgery ? Too bad they didn't snip that off then if it was. For now just apply neosporin daily. You can put raw honey on it as well.

I’ll use honey, it was always like that but the shedding just started.

Looks like retained shed in a couple of places on the tail to me.

No drama unless they are too tight and obstruction bloodflow past them. Give the tail a soak in luke warm water for 30 minutes ( dangle it in a tumbler full of water while giving the dragon a snuggle ), should loosen up the retained shed enough for it come off . Careful about trying to peel off the retained shed or picking at it.

If in doubt , as the vet about it.

Hello,

I am glad that he is having a good day then! Since he has a good appetite & has been
climbing his arm loss doesn't seem to be bothering him too much then.
Definitely put some honey on the end of the tail. Did he get it pinched in something? I
hope it doesn't come to that portion dying, but it looks a bit odd.
Let us know how he is doing.

Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
Getting ready for another day. Feeling sleepy. 😴
I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
