That was going to be my next question regarding the size, is 90 not big enough ?

I prefer the glass to the wood and this is the biggest glass i can find.

Thanks for such a fast reply.

Chris.

I wouldnt say it wont last forever. That is definitely the bare minimum size for permanent enclosures though. If you could, try to find something a bit bigger.

if u look at it it says that it is 90cm (36in) long it will last you meby a year they grow quick. after they grow out of that you will need to upgrade to a 40 or 55 gallon tank (not sure some one correct me if im wrong)

The minimum for an adult is 36x18, which this one is. 48" is not the minimum rather it is the preferred and recommended size.

So am i right is saying if i wanna stay with glass to look for a 40-55 gallon aquarium tank and modify.

Or i should be looking along the lines of a wooden 1 such as :-

Id prefer to get something which will be better and last instead of changing the enviroment later on.

Any good sites for the glass tanks ?

Thanks.

Chris.

go with that wooden one. It is perfect and a very good price.

The problem that I have with glass is that the dragon could get stressed because it can see its reflection in a glass enclosure and they end to glass dance. The wood one is very similar to what I use and what a TON of others use.

What about this one :-

Only weights 6kg and would be ideal as i would like to mount on a shelf on a wall.

Thanks

That could work. I would just make sure you stick to linear fluorescent uvb bulbs. If you are in the UK, I recommend the arcadia 12% linear tube.

Well, that tank is bit on the short side to safely use a MVB(mercury vapor bulb) MVBs are an all on one bulb that provide both heat AND UVB. A linear fluorescent tube only provides UVB so you will have to use a secondary bulb for heat.

Thanks mate for that im still at the learning stages, i thought though that 47" was around the recomended size ?

That 1 does seem ideal for what i want and gives and extra 30cm compared to the exo terra but lacks the style.

Guess the fun will come making it look good as well.

Thanks.

Chris.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
