Sunkist's Harem of Boys -Update- New pic of Jilly aka Mr. Sh

Soooo today started out a quite interesting day. I went and picked up my newest boy - he's probably about 14-15 months old and has been kept on sand his whole life but I've already given him a bath and he's pooped so I don't think he's impacted. I've given him some supers too. I also went to the reptile show and picked up some supers at a great price so I'm happy.

I'll start the picture showing with some of the family.

I just picked him up this morning. I wouldn't call him a true rescue because the woman really tried but she did everything the store told her to do, sand, mealworms, etc. He seems to be okay - his tail is a bit on the dehydrated side and he's got some staining on the underside from the sand but he's doing good. I've taken him out alot already but he's not happy because I haven't pulled his tank out of the car yet so he's in a small tank but he has the right lighting so that's a good thing.

I just think it's funny I've ended up with all boys. And yes.... they all have their two hump manlihoods. I checked Spike's this morning to ensure it was there.

Ohhhh "spike" is driving me bonkers - he is soooooooo trying to break out. I realize he's new and I've changed his tank around and everything but he's constant moving. Aghhhhh. I know it will be better when I get the shelves built but they are still in the van. That's the sucky part about being a single female - sometimes you just need an extra pair of hands to help get stuff inside.

You know the funniest of the 4 boys is the baby. I swear that dragon makes me laugh all the time. He's sooo into everything and attacks his food with such gusto. He watches my every move and actually looks depressed when it's lights out time. I think he watches me fall asleep before he settles down himself.

Love the pics of your boys!!! All I want to know is, how the heck were you able to get them to stay lined up on the side of the tub long enough to take not one picture, but two?

Lindy looked so tiny in that first pic...boy, how they grow so fast!!!

My favorite is Jilly on top of Lindy...Jilly's saying " Hey Lindy...could ya go a little faster, bath time will be over before we ever reach the other side?"

I don't know if Spike is depressed or what but he's just not doing well.

Reminder - he's a rescue, I picked him up last saturday so have had him almost a week now. He was kept on sand with very little stuff in his tank. I don't think he had true UVB lighting. The first few days he was trying to escape but stopped doing that. I have him with the right UVB lighting and the right temperatures - the same setups my other 3 have. He hasn't eaten since Tuesday or Wednesday but then he had 20 supers. I realize he may just be full but all he's doing is basking with his eyes closed. He is getting daily baths and did have a normal poop today. I just wonder if he was brumating and she didn't tell me. I just gave him some reptaid hoping it will perk him up a bit and I also gave him about 20 droppers full of water with the last 5 having his multivitamin mixed in. Soooo he shouldn't be dehyrated because of his baths but he definitely drank without me having to force him too much. His pads behind his eyes are nice and plump.

Sooo when do I worry?

Here's poor Jilly. I swear he's been in constant shed since I got him at the beginning of January. I think he's grown like 4 inches.

Since Spike did eat on Wednesday and has been pooping regularly, he's probably just adjusting to the new environment. It may be some sort of partial brumation.

Ohhhh the boys are a hoot. Evidently Spike is happiest in his bath. I left him in there 45 minutes yesterday because every time I tried to take him out he swam away from me. When I finally forced him out he came out all white bellied. Also... evidently he likes crickets... forget those stinking superworms... give me crickets I say. He attacked 20 large with such energy... it sucks since I HATE CRICKETS. Gonna order some roaches and see if those are more to his liking.

Fargo is going through shed right now... he had the shrek look going last night.

Lindy is being his normal laid back self... he just chills.

Jilly is growing like a weed and still the most animated of the 4. I need to get some video of him and post how cute he is. He just went through is 2nd whole body shed in a week.
