Is he shedding or not

Left leg is the less vibrant one and what caught my attention.
Dio looks to be shedding but I could be losing my mind. You can see weird “clear” outlines around each scale compared to the right

I would like to know so I can stop babying him about eating and drinking, lol.

Its hard to say for certain in the pictures, but it does resemble a shed just starting to release in some spots. With a shed you will generally notice colors will become slightly muted and progress to a grayish transparent layer that will be the shed itself.

You mentioned worries about eating and drinking. While shedding is a good indicator of growth in babies/juveniles, weight and length gains are much more important as an indicator. Sheds will generally become less frequent with age.

That definitely looks like shed to me. It's a duller color and looks thicker/waxier in texture which should eventually just come free on it's own. Nothing to worry about there.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
