Yesterday I buried my Beardie, Blade Killer-Kane Bernard Diaz. If you’ve seen my recent other post about his death, then you would know I arrived yesterday, but if you didn’t, what happened was that he choked on his meal, but I couldn’t save him Because it was too late, then I hated to leave on that day (Friday), then I arrived yesterday (Sunday)... and let me say this, it was truly gruesome... coming home and instantly smelling his rotted body, then going to his room seeing he was just were I had set him the day he chocked, and you might be wondering... “Why didn’t I just bury him on Friday???” and to that, I have to admit that I had really hoped he wasn’t dead, and I didn’t have enough time on Friday anyway, so when I came back, it was instantly time to bury him, so as I was saying, I went into my room and saw he was bloated full with liquid emitting from his mouth and in a pool of blood, which was just plain heartbreak for me, as I am a first time beardie owner and my brand new beardie has already past, but Even though I’m getting a new one, im not gonna feed him as many mealworms as I did this guy, and I’m gonna never leave him out of my sight, [I’ll still miss u Bernard )’:] Ok back to the story again... i really didn’t want to just pick him up, so my mom gave me some latex gloves, and I found an old plastic handled-fishing net, and I covered my nose with my hoodie, as the stink was just fuming, and I got some paper towels, picked him out of his enclosure, put him in the net, and took him to the side of my house to bury, were I had dug a small hole with my gloves on, and placed him in. Then I made sure for him to be in a good position, then I laid the ground on him, and just like that, he was gone
