Can't figure it out. He pooped just a couple hours earlier, so I thought he just didn't get all the poop off. This doesn't resemble anything I've fed him.

the tip I'm holding with tongs is hard and dark, the rest was (I am assuming, because I'm not touching it) soft and wet. Wasn't attached to anything, just came right out.

That would be a sperm plug, which is very common in the males, of course! They normally come out eventually.
