Zen's new jungle gym 💪 😎

So I haven't been happy with Zen's habitat for a while, but I wasn't sure what I wanted to do. I knew I couldn't get rid of his nets because he absolutely loved them. Then it occurred to me, he needs a jungle gym!!!!!!! So I went to lowes on a scouting expedition. As I'm standing there scratching my head (no really I got it sunburned and it was itching like crazy ) a plan began to formulate. 40 bucks later (I already had new nets from a different scrapped project) this is what I came up with . I still have to incorporate his sandstone back in somewhere, but I do have the ability to cut it to shape so that won't be to hard.

I really like working with wood too.
And I have my own carpentry workshop in the garage, so I can say that everything is done very carefully, reliably and very beautifully!
I can see that Zen also likes his new gym.
What kind of wood did you use and did you paint it with something?

The main frame was Oak and the bracing was Poplar. Both are nontoxic and i like the natural look so i didn't add any sealers or stain. I'm not really liking the zipties though so i may hit the hobby shop and pick up some really heavy twine and lace it.

I think he approves (now that he has stopped black bearding and giving me stink-eye lol)
He hates when i mess with his stuff, he is ALWAYS pi$$y for a couple days after i change anything lol.

The second photo is just amazing!
Zen can be seen enjoying his new gym.
I want to note that the gym turned out to be the right size and I would never say that the guy on it is a giant 1kg

I need to weigh him, i haven't in a while. I tell ya what though, even as "robust, his words lol" as he is, when he decides to take off theres no catching him.
