pimmsoclock87 Hatchling Member Jan 6, 2010 #1 Just recently iv'e noticed Rex closes one eye quite a bit, its not always the same eye so i don't think its an infection in a certain eye. He does it sometimes when he is in his viv but always when he is sitting on me. Is this normal? wasn't sure if he was just resting a eye  I have correct lighting in viv so its nothing to do with having a coil bulb etc. I have a reptisun 10.0 tube and 60w basking light. He doesn't seem ill and eating loads, very active so not too worried just wondered is it normal!??! Thanks

ajkry2 Gray-bearded Member Jan 6, 2010 #3 do you have the basking light set up very near to the uvb? if they look into the light it could hurt their eyes... [------------][0] or [------------] [0] where [--------] = uv source and [0] = basking
