Diane,
Yes I think this time I want a male. We will probably never breed them because of money and space, etc but I still want a male. I was blown away by the little statue and it's sitting in the "beardie room". I am patiently(NOT) waiting to find a new baby) LOLOLOL You do realize I'll be a crazier woman, choosing my next baby, getting things togther, and waiting on my new addition to arrive.
Mark has informed me that Alf is his girl and the new one can be mine and Timmy's. I told him that just because I'm getting another dragon doesn't mean I don't love Alf!!!!She's still my girl too(he forgets,I'm the one who takes care of her, feeds her bathes her etc......And besides all that jazz, she was my first dragon. So there :? and haha LOLOLOLOL Alf is very much Mark's baby though. She cuddles him every night and they watch TV together and play together etc....He has her spoiled very badly. Which is something I am glad of and thankful for. Whenever I thank him for being so good to my
Alf and loving her he says"If you remember correctly,I was the one that showed you your first beardie, and I say yes I know but you could have disliked Alf for whatever reason..........Anyway I am glad he likes her.
Good luck with your baby beardie search... even more so trying to be patient
YAAAAAAAY!!!! There's gonna be a new member to our "family" soon.
I'm still hoping that hubby will surprise me with a new gecko for my anniversary next month. He keeps balking due to space... but I told him if we get rid of the bed in the spare bedroon we will have PLENTY of space  I will win... he just doesn't know it. Although you would think he would learn... UUUMMM 5 beardies in less than a year. HELLLLLLOOOO!
Sara, that's great, we're all very happy for you. I think it's a good idea to get a male, they're all very loving but the experience of happy both sexes is amazing. So, you think you won't have to share the new baby with Mark as much as you do Alf? I'll bet Mark will "step in" and love him just like he does Alf, even though he says he will be mostly yours and Timmy's. Have you thought about what age you'd prefer? I would like to get a 3 to 4 mo old for my next one, rather than a little baby (which all the others were) or an adult.

I have found the most wonderful male dragon!! His colors match Alf nicely(no breeding intended, but colors are a great match). I will post pictures and an introduction when he gets home next week.
I am really getting excited he is about 3 months old, born some time around the first of June.I am really happy with his colors, the picture is very bright orange.Timmy and MArk are getting excited too.
