weird sleeping spots

at night, my dragon sleeps propped up in a corner, on the floor of his glass aquarium
is this normal?

he also doesnt like to explore outside his cage
i can put him anywhere in my room and he will go running back to his cage and try get in it, its really funny watching him surf the glass though
i heard the more i hold him, the less he will do this (no sign of subsiding yet)

The weird sleeping is perfectly normal. Gibby does that all the time. Don't know why, but it doesn't seem to hurt them any. Dora doesn't, but that's probably because she wants to get out and sleep with me, and is content to stay on her rock when I put her to bed. I dunno about the trying to get back in his cage. Neither of mine do, but their cages are up off the floor, so they couldn't if they wanted to.
