Perhaps a separate forum with it's own lines - US (then the states), UK (counties), worldwide (countries).
Finding a good reptile vet is hard work, especially if you're new and in a tizz.
Obviously off topic comments should be bumped off, but there should be a "feedback" area for good/bad vet visits.
I mention it, because it took me ages to find good herp vets in the past - thankfully, my hometown has a good one: http://www.abbeyvetcentre.co.uk/Abbey_Veterinary_Centre/Services.html - they offer all KINDS of stuff including MRI and ultrasound.
