Those are some very awesome vivs, I do have the cave thing in favorates so when I move and have a spare bedroom I can make a larger viv and do a cave and such for my two babies... I think they would love it ... once they have their own bedroom I am planning on expanding the vivs... I am saving all the ideas I can find
This is Delilah's enclosure it is 4'l x 2'w x 2h. She has resided in this enclosure since around march i think. It has a 160watt mvb and a 75watt tight beam spot for the hot spot. the backgroung is several sheets of foam board insulation covered by grout. The background wrap around 3 sides of the enclosure.
This is the whole tank.
This is Delilah on her basking spot which is 96 degrees ambient temp, and a belly temp of about 102 degrees. She loves it there.
omg, these enclosures are GORGEOUS! I'm not only blown away by the do it yourself backgrounds, but the homes themselves. Do you build those yourself too? The elaborate cabinet types with the sliding glass doors? The only reptile enclosures I've ever seen for sale have been the open top tank types. Although, I've never owned reptiles before so its not exactly like I've ever looked for anything to house reptiles. I'm determined to be a good beardie mom though and want to prepare to make them as comfortable and feel as at home as possible.
Their current mom has a basic tank setup for indoors and she's got a whole playground for them all set up in a plastic kiddie pool for outdoor playtime during the day.
