What great looking vivs!
Im planning on redoing Dylans viv soon - so will be stealing ideas
even going to try import a lounger from "lizard Luxuries" those are so cute!
I just brought Dylan a hammock so will try incorparate it with the new design, will let you know what the end result will be!
Remodeled the viv today. No more river rocks and I added a wood structure that I made myself. I didn't realize that I could make one from wood from outside (cleaned and baked then screwed together). Love this site. I learn so much every day!
It is a little bare right now because the vet didn't give Freddie very long to live and the poop is going everywhere when does go. He has a large tumor on the back of his neck. I did want to make sure I posted pics.
This is my baby Rally's tank...he will be getting a wooden reptile enclosure in a couple of month's after I move because he will get big!!
For now he is in this tank...tried make it as naturalistic as possible.
The background is hand painted from me and my boyfriend. We used a sponge
the rocks are from aquarium rocks we found at the local pet store
This pic was taken when we just got him about 2 weeks ago...he got slightly bigger and fatter since then
he loves basking on his rock!
it reminds me of Pride Rock from Lion King...LOLL
Here is my 90 gallon tank for my future bearded dragon, I do not have my beardie yet, I am getting him in 2 weeks, but Here is the cage as of now, i plan on adding plants and a background, but I don't have any yet. I also know that i do't have lihting yet, but i am getting it in a week.
Well heres mine so far. Any critiques, comment, suggestions are greatly appreciated. I started with a 10 Gallon desert tank from Pet smart but felt horrible about it so started my search right away. Found this tank and cabinet together on craigslist for $65.00. Its a 72 gallon bow front tank. I made the rock wall from all of your suggestions from styrofoam and grout and some air brushing. Hes not a fan of the little hide I including but he does love the ledge. Heres a few Pictures. In the Spring we will be building a climate controlled room for a reptile room.
Looks Awesome.. I knew it was going to turn out great based on the early pictures of construction. Nice job with the tiles and all, classy and comfy looking..
The only thing I notice that isn't all that great is the UVB light is on top of a screen and way to far away from the beardie. The UVB should be mounted inside the viv and in a place that the beardie can get within 6"-8" of it. I would probably get a longer bulb too.
