Swollen leg?

Our dragon is about 6 months old. He is not great about eating his veggies but we try. He eats alot of Hornworms and Dubia's.

Do his legs look swollen? He seems to be acting fine. We have had alot of rain so he goes to his cave early but is happy if we take him out to hold him.

He had a T5 zoo med 10.0 uvb inside the cage about 12 inches above the basking spot. His Basking spot is about 105 degrees.

They don't look swollen, just a bit... uh.. girthy? LOL

He's well fed and well cared for it seems. It's important though that he is eating salads, especially at his age and size. You should consider looking into other insects too to start limiting the amount of dubias he is getting. Dubias when offered as the main sole protein source increase incidences of gout in dragons over time.

Hydration (salads) helps negate some of that ill effect.

I was wondering if he was just chunky. He is very lazy. We juat weighed him and he is 263g

He will not touch crickets and I can't find silkworms anywhere.

I put the Hornworms in his salads which helps get some greens into him but not a ton.

He will get so mad he will walk off and go Into his cave when we try to feed him veggies.

He is definitely loved.
