Substitute for crickets and dubia, Canada

Hello everyone,

I had bought a 1000 pack crickets from a breeder, and they all ended up dying. ( I have kept them properly )
I don't want to waste anymore crickets and money. So I thought getting Dubias which have more longer lifespan than crickets. However, Dubia roaches are not allowed in Canada, as well as any other kinds of exotic roaches. So is there any substitute for the mentioned feeders?

My Bearded Dragon:
Age: 7-8 weeks
Size: I can't size him up because he still scared of me, but he's still small.

You may want to try another vendor for crickets since there aren't a ton of options available there. Maybe supercricket.ca or thewormlady.ca will have some that will last longer. You can also try different kinds of worms. Black soldier fly larvae (Phoenix Worms) are a good option but they're very small so you'll go through a lot of them. You may be able to get some silk worm eggs and raise those. They are a healthy option. If you don't have access to mulberry leaves for them, you can use the chow mix. Hornworms are another option but they can get pretty big. Black solider fly larvae are probably your best bet for a guy as small as yours if the crickets don't work out.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
