Thanks so much for all the advice and help. I'll get a syringe and look for those things tomorrow at the pet stores. If I can't find them, I'll order them online. I'll post about the yogurt as soon as I try it in the morning and will try another bath and the baby food again as well. (the baby food is squash) any advice, other than the nose dripping i have been doing, on how to get him to open his mouth? Thanks for the video - it will be a Huge help. Super worried about him but trying to let him be so he can sleep.
The video is great! Keep in mind that a baby needs 80% protien to 20% veggie (Squash) And go slow with small amounts for a baby. Keep us updated! Poor sweet babe.
If your little guy doesn't like the yogurt tomorrow, and if you think he'll be super fussy about syringe feeding and you might only get 1 syringeful in, you could mix the baby food and yogurt together and use that. (And he might even like the flavor of the mixture! )

i'm feeding mine with chicken babyfood/pedialyte with a little bit of calcium powder mixed in and when i do it i press the syringe to his chin a little and he starts licking and opening his mouth. it's really a struggle to get mine to eat it, he'll lick for a ml or 2 and then he stops so i hope you have better luck.
Update:
Still not eating. He's been tight-lipped all day. I got maybe a fingernail clipping's worth of the soy yogurt into him and that is it. He was very clingy today tho. I took him out to give him a bath to see if warm water did the trick. no help with the bath but he clung to my fingers when I tried to put him back and showed some energy by climbing all the way up to my shoulder. (I didn't dare move since he was actually moving) he crawled across my neck to my other shoulder, pooped on me, then fell asleep. I took heart in the fact that he actually showed some energy but he hasn't moved since I put him back in his cage and is sleeping again. :/ won't take the syringe or anything i drop on him. but he doesn't seem to be in any pain. just very very lethargic and not hungry
Poor little dear I hope he bounces back soon! (for your sake and his! )
! I just thought of something. Have you double-checked the temps in his viv since you moved him back home? Maybe the tree-hole in the house is (or could be) affecting the air temp in the house. And air temp affects basking/coolside temps, from what I've experienced. Hmm.
So after a very LONG waiting time at the vet (I was so angry! I had made an appointment and everything, and still started an hour later) I got absolutely no help..... The vet has no idea what's wrong with him.... he doesn't have high coccelia (sp?) count or other parasites, no neurological problems he could find, and no reason to not be eating. So no reason for weight loss aside from not eating. I was suspicious of this but he claims to have seen to many beardies over the years. I have absolutely no idea what to do now and am in the process of looking for another vet.... I just don't believe him. I am astounded.
Snazzyglasses. I did double check them before when we mvoed back in and did today (just now since I saw your post), they are the same as before.
Catahoula is sleepign all day, won't open his mouth even for water or open his eyes, even durign a bath. I tried warming him up even warmer but didn't want to make it too hot but no change. Back to normal heat and just sleeping. Every time I put him in the cage, he crawls back into my shirt and falls asleep until I move him again. Seems to have some energy since he's not slowly dragging himself to the shirt - just walking to it normally. At a loss.... I honestly have no idea what to do and am starting to give up hope.
I did get a boost supplement from Zilla today to try (it's for reptiles that are "off food" or anoerxic - so it says on the package.) No luck at all with that either.
At this point all I can do is pray and look for another vet. I feel such despair.
