My 8 year old male has chosen to spend most of the time on the opposite side of his viv, which is the cool side.
This is unusual for him. He’s eating/pooping as usual, except pooping in the viv. He has trained me to take him to a sink with water and then poops. He waits at the front nearest to the glass door. The last couple of months he just poops inside the viv.
All the temps/lights/uvb are correct and haven’t changed except the Reptisun 10.0 is changed every 6 months.
Is this behavior consistent with older age?
Thank you.

After he eats.
He spends more time (wherever he’s in his home )
sleeping. It’s not brumating season. So is it a sign of older age? He certainly is living up to their name “lazy lizards”.
