Size of eggs

What does it mean when a female lays eggs when some come out normal size and some come out about half that size?
Does it mean they didn't have enough time inside her to fully develop before she laid them? If so, should we wait longer before putting a lay box out?

Hows it going. Well if the female lays she is ready to lay and there isn't much you should do to stop it because that is to risky. However, eggs do very in size and that doesn't always mean that they going to be good or no good. Your best bet is to take the smaller eggs and put them in a different egg bin so you can see how they develop and compare. I guess it goes without saying that I would incubate them until I am sure they are bad.
