I took the wallpaper down so they could see each other and Nammer pretty much went nuts. Started head bobbing her own reflection , clawing at the glass, not interested in eating.., I put some new wallpaper up and she went back to her usual self again. I also added some all natural river sand to her tank. She did lose the tip of her tail (about one inch) and is now 14.5" long.
Hermie is her feisty squirmy self! her lip formed a scab and when that fell off it looked like it's starting to heal. Still applying the colloidal silver to her mouth and chest/belly.
They really have flourished, they look great and colors are awesome. You've done an excellent job and these dragons have some good genes along the way that kept them going through all of this.
They are doing well. Growing and healing... We've had them 9 months I think and honestly it's a lot of work and expense and it gets tiring sometimes. We got them for my 10 yr old and she doesn't spend much time with them. that's sad. I'm hoping that will improve once school is out for summer.
When I had the wallpaper down and Nammer went nuts she stopped eating crix. She wasn't too keen on phoenix worms or dubias either but loves wax worms and super bugs. She started eating some crix again but prefers wax and supers. I normally only give one wax per day - anyone know if supers are ok as a staple? How many per day?
Great videos & pictures, too. Hermies is so sweet isn't she? Nammer is looking awesome too! They are both just so pretty.
Her chest wound has really decreased in size & hopefully it will just eventually close up altogether. It is much much improved than a few months ago, that is for sure!
Her lip does look like it is healing. It is a bit raw since the scab fell off, but hopefully scales will start to form on that soon.
They both look really happy too! Great job with both of them.
Keep us all updated on them both. Maybe your daughter will spend some time with them this summer.
Hermie's belly looks so much better than it did. I hope it continues to heal well. You're doing a great job with her. I watched the videos and it looks to me like she's burping or hiccuping. This is only happening after meals? It looks much quicker than coughs I've seen related to respiratory infections. I wouldn't think it's a big problem but perhaps give her smaller meals more frequently for a while or give her some bene-bac and see if that helps ease things a bit for her.
Hi everyone,
I've made the difficult decision that we need to find caring experienced homes for Hermie and Nammer.

I am sorry you are needing to rehome them both. You have done wonderfully & I am sure it has been extremely challenging with all of the issues. I completely understand so hopefully there will be someone experienced to take them both.
I am glad that they are both doing well right now!
