Should I Be WORRIED?

Hi everyone
I have been looking after my son's dragons (2) since September and they are growing and appear healthy - until today. As per my son's instructions I have occasionally been feeding them crickets. Usually I buy 50 medium which they devour in about 2 minutes. My son told me I could feed more, so yesterday I threw in 100. One dragon would catch and eat one at a time. The other dragon was catching as many as he could and holding them in his mouth barely taking time to swallow. After about 15 minutes they stopped eating, leaving about 6 crickets. So today one of the dragons has hardly moved. I'm worried there may be something wrong. Could he just be over fed? Should I be worried? His skin also appears a little darker than his roomie's.
Thanks for your help.

I guess the first question would be how big are they? It could simply be they overate. You may want to keep an eye on them and make sure they go poop. There's a possibility they could overeat and become impacted. But if it is a adult dragon, it may not be as much of a possibility.

Thanks Melissa
I think they are about 2 years old about a foot long. There is only one bowl movement in the tank so one of them has not gone.

Ok, they should be ok. How long have you been taking care of them? Sometimes, they change colors when they want something. It could be he just misses your son

I've had them since September although my son comes by a couple times a month. I don't know if they miss him, but I know he misses them. Thanks for your help, I'm not too familiar with reptiles. I will keep an eye on him but I appreciate the reassurance. I have to admit, they are neat little guys!!!

Thanks

As adult dragons they should be eating more greens and veggies than bugs. I would not feed them bugs today, if they ate that many yesterday and one hasn't pooped yet.

Adults should get 80% greens/veggies to 20% bugs

Do you know what the temps are in the tank?
Can you give them a warm bath?

Hi LJean
I only feed them crickets maybe every 3rd week. Otherwise they eat a variety of veggies daily with suppliments once a week. I can't tell you the tank temp. I am just using what my son set up, which is a pile of rocks located under a 'white' light and a long floresent(sp?) light that runs the length of the tank. At night I turn those off and use an infra-red light also located over the rocks. The dragons seem to move close or away from the rocks as they are cold or warm. Normally I see them on or near the rocks during the day and away from the rocks at night. I could give them a bath, if you tell me how. By the way the dragon has started moving around. I feel much better. Thanks for the advice.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
