Rocky was called an iguana...

and Rocky called her baby a moose!
That's it, end of story!!!

No seriously, someone pointed and said, "look an iguana on their shirt." I purposely turned to the register slowly. Rocky said, "And your baby looks like a moose." Thank goodness they couldn't hear him, but boy did we have a good laugh!

I was in a convenience store with Snickers a while back. There was 3 Hispanic guys in front of me. One of them spotted Snickers and started telling the other 2 guys "look look its an iguana lizard " I told him that she is a beardie. So he starts telling them "look look it's a beardie iguana lizard" I said "no sir, she is a bearded dragon" so his says to his two buddies " look look he has a bearded dragon iguana lizard" I just gave up and said "yup thats exactly what she is" ..... true story by the way .

I guess depending on where you are from is how you will associate the beardie...got it. I was defensive about my baby and we lived through it. You always bring me right back to reality and I appreciate it.

FYI- the villain in this story was white/American but point taken.

I got confused at first when I got into keeping.

They both kind of look the same
But I'm pretty sure Frilled Lizards & Bearded dragons are native to Australia.

Iguanas are beautiful in their natural habitat.
I've seen them.
