So after a lot of grief and overwhelming behavior weirdness, finally got my beardie to the vet and she was diagnosed with pinworms and coccidia. She has been prescribed Ponazuril and Panacur to help treat with two doses of each. I’ve been reading about giving beardies probiotic while they’re taking meds for treatment and wondering what is the best to give with that combo of meds? So far I’m leaning towards giving her soy yogurt, but wanted to get opinions first. She’s been pretty grumpy since we got home from the vet yesterday. Thanks!

From what I've read, those meds tend not to be too harsh on them, so probiotics probably aren't necessary. It doesn't hurt to offer them though. The soy yogurt should do the trick. I tend to avoid bene-bac because one of the strains in it (Enterococcus faecium) can be harmful to humans if ingested (thorough hand washing mitigates the risk well enough).
