Our new baby-stress marks normal?

We have a new baby, she's about 7 wks old. She was sold to a pet store too early and has only 2" of tail left. She was the smallest of the beardies at the store, and as my husband works there part-time, we were allowed to bring her home. We've named her Isabella, short name Issy. My question is do baby beardies often show stress marks on their bellies and turn dark when they shed? I'm new to babyhood, having 2 adult beardies, so her behaviour sometimes worries me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My leo is about 6 months old now and sometimes shows signs of stress, when he was a baby there were stress marks on his belly like little black lines, Also on rare occasions if an orange line appears under the holes where his ears should be that is also a sign of stress but if the orange line is always there dont panic because it will be a marking ! hope that helps abit as nobody replies to my post lol

I haven't had my babies all that long (about 3 weeks) and they both still have stress marks most of the time. Their houses have everything they need but still have the marks. In the past few days the marks have been mostly gone but they get darker once in awhile. I wouldnt worry too much. Mine don't get dark before they shed or atleast so far. Both of them have only had one shed with me but I think one is starting to again, He (I Think) gets a bit grayer before he does. Hope this helps you abit.

I wanted to thank you for the reassurance, she spent all day yesterday shedding. I think she's shedding again today, so we'll see how she is in a week. This is her 1st week home, I think she's recovering from relocation stress as well. At least she's eating and pooping every day. Thanks again.
