I get a bit worried when Spike goes awhile without eating and sleeps for what feels like days on end. I wake him up a bit and make sure he gets some type of food. Usually he runs to eat a bit and then goes back to sleep - the going back to sleep part is fine with me as long as he is getting something in him. Is this okay to "pull" a bd out of brumation? I don't think he has gone 100% into it as even when I don't get him up he will on his own about every other day, if I were to let him go that long =)
Also, I realized today that I don't think he has poo'd in like 2 weeks. I know on average an adult is about once a week, but should I be conserned? Other than this he acts totally fine, has recently made a full switch to roaches, and actually basks more than he did. I haven't been keeping track of this, although have thought about it and now wish I had been, which you can be sure I will start!! Could the switch change his poo timeline like it does sometimes with us humans?
thanks!!
