Odd Behavior? trying to get out of tank?

Hey this morning my Beardie started acting odd, He went to the toilet in his food dish then after that hes been scrapping at the glass/sides of the tank, he will stop to look at me, then carry on aobut scraping again.

He has fresh water and fresh food, I tried misting him with water, obivously cleared the poop up but hes still doing it.

The hot spot is 89/90 Middle of the tank is 80 so cold end must be around 70/75

I have a Reptisun 10 UVB tube bulb and a 100w house hold bulb for light

hes like 8 months old and I had him from around 7 weeks hes probably around 12/13 inches in lengh head to tail, might be slight under estimate, He mostly eats Crickets with some locusts and wax worms on occasions as treats, He eats kale/mustard cress/water cress and I also give him different fruits, however no citrus.

Hes in a 5ft by 2ft tank with a Tiled floor and some wood for climbing etc.

When my beardie goes to the bathroom in her viv she completely flips out...doesn't want to be in there and who can blame her. I wouldn't either :bleick:

Your guy just might want to get out. Just to be on the safe side though you might want to try getting your temps up a bit. Try to get basking to 100-105 and cool side 80-85. If you need, you can raise your basking spot til you get the right temps.

Maybe your Dragon wants out, mine roam around when we are home and love being out, basking in real sunlight and playing around the living room. I have a female and male beardie that are both about 10 months old. They adore being around people even climbing the couch to come sit with us. Maybe it wants more attention. One of mine also started pooing in the food dish so I moved the dish to another cool corner and that seemed to works.
