i think i need a new baby..
Morgan,
I got Gemini from Barb shortly after Jojo passed away. Of course I would never forget about Jojo,I think about her every day, but Gemini has definately helped me heal and has given me joy back in my life.
It sounds to me that you are ready for a new baby
im thinking i need a new baby too im having empty tank syndrome
i know i could never replace spike no pet can be replaced each is an idividual that finds a new place in our heart to help heal the empty spot from those now gone
so we got the report back and she said that he had REALLY high levels of coccidia and pinworms other than that no other parasites she said that she had never seen anything like this and that there was nothing we could do for him
OH my...that scares me. Makes me worried about my 3 dragons...they have all been treated for coccidia in the past, but are clean now ( as of the last fecal check)
The necropsy report showed everything else was normal then?
If the coccidia and pinworm count were extremely high, it can certainly cause them to go downhill and eventually kill them but not usually as fast. That's why I wondered if anything else showed up as abnormal, like all of her organs.
It would be a good idea to have your other beardies tested asap.
Hm, that is very odd. High levels of coccidia & worms can eventually kill them, but like Diane said, usually not that fast. It sounds like there might have been something else going on such as a viral or bacterial type of infection along with the high coccidia levels.
