my new baby...is he ok?

I got 2 babies 2 days ago. My female is doing great, eating like a pig! My boy however for the last 24 hours has been really dark...and he eats but not as much or as ferociously as the girl. hes young, only 6 weeks and 6 inches...his basking spot is 92 and i just added another spot to get it warmer, i just would like to know if this is something to be concerned about.

What's the basking temp now? It should be between 105 and 110 for young dragons. The dark colour probably means he's cold.

no they have their own cages, and he is just staying dark. I dont know whats up. Im trying to leave him alone as much as possible, but when i feed him he really gets freaked. Hes eating fine though, which is good. Im just gonna give it some time i guess...
Any other ideas?

Hello,

Which UVB light are you using for him? What type of thermometer are you using to measure the temperatures with?
He is rather tiny & they are fragile at that age & stress pretty easily.

reptisun 10.0, digi thermometer and 110 basking, 85 cool...I guess he just needs time...i just hope he stays healthy and gets used to my house!

Hello,

Great, that should be no problem then. The basking light is a bright white one?
Sometimes it takes some a little longer to come around & destress than other ones. I would give him a little more time.
