I aquired a beautiful 1 year old from a family who could no longer care for him. He was very well taken care of and loved before coming to me. His front left arm is a nub that did not develop and his tail is "bobbed". If anyone has any suggestions at all for enclosure set up / what works best for their special kiddos! I have had beardies before and i just want him to be happy and comfortable in his new forever home!
Hi there, can you post some pics of Flokie ? They usually get around on 3 legs with no problem at all, maybe don't have him climb TOO high or perch him on your shoulder while you're walking , which so many owners do and then have accidents even with their 4 legged beardies because they jump.
BTW, his leg + tail were probably bitten off when he was a baby, it;s very common.

Please go over the husbandry of the tank --- you need digital probe thermometers for accurate surface basking temps and a good long tube UVB fixture -- NO coils please -- there are 3 good UVB's that are recommended - if you need help or links please ask
