My guy may be getting too big too fast...

So my guy ( Scooby) is under 6 months old and is about 17 inches, and over 300 grams. He eats his greens and bsfls in the morning and we feed him bugs twice a day. I wonder if we need to cut back on the bugs? He is getting big, too fast. His basking lights and uv are good. I don't want to grow him too fast if it is unhealthy.
Any opinions will be appreciated.

They do grow fast if your husbandry is on par. At 17 inches he still has size to put on, i wouldn't cut his food till he stops growing and starts to fill out.

Thank you for this! I was worried that he is too young to be this big. He eats like he is starving...just glad that he likes his greens. I don't want an unhealthy beardie due to my feeding him too much. Your reassurance means a lot.
