You are distracting me from giving out the right advice based on my 2 bearded dragons I have here. As I stated, the previous owner to mine had poor husbandry. Red lights were used and now he can't see but shapes and shadows. I got him and she claimed he basked, ate and went to the bathroom fine. 10 days after I had him we were at the emergency Vet. He was impacted from improper heating as he was impacted from dubia roaches. He was severely dehydrated and his urates were like chalk. Took me a month to clean him out from being impacted. 3 months before I got him, he tested positive for Coccidia. She never gave him any meds for it. So I am still trying to get him negative for that. I spent hours, and months doing research before getting one. He didn't know how to bask, so I had to keep putting him where he needed to be and now he does it perfectly. A friend rescued a dragon that was gray, has MBD and had a hard time using his back legs. I gave her a custom enclosure, and told her all the things she needed. He is a normal color and thriving. However, she started to not pay attention as it is harder for him to get up a hide unless you make one out of slate rocks. So he wasn't basking and his bugs caused impaction with a ton of blood and water/mucus. He ended up with Coccidia because his food was rotting inside of him and caused parasites. There are so many stories, but I will stand by my suggestions since I DO know what I am talking about even without proper documentation for you. I would NEVER give out wrong info to hurt anyone's dragon.
