Awwww, I love the pics of him on the drift wood. He looks so proud. "I Sir Moose, having scaled this mountain, claim it for surveying my kingdom" He's a cutie!
Moose is doing great! I was going to get more pictures of him last night and do an update but I burned my hand yesterday cleaning his poop... it's pathetic really but my right hand is out of commission  My steamer broke so I was cleaning it up with boiling water and a tooth brush, and well, spilled the water all over my hand :? Anyway, he's still devouring 40-50 reptiworms a day... and leaving 2 or 3 poops a day for me... smack dab on his basking log. ugh. Sure hope that changes cause it's getting ridiculous  I'll get new pics up as soon as I can, I'll see about a video too. One thing I wanted to ask, about how long will it take for him to shed? His tail has been white since wednesday and his head since friday or so. Nothing is peeling yet, is it normal to take that long? Thanks,

My guy's tail has been shedding for 2 weeks now. It will get pretty white, and then turn yellowish/greyer right before it comes off. Just give him baths and give it time
Also, mine goes on his basking log every day too -__- Unfortunately it's been going on for 2 months, so I think its just something to get used to.
Just weighed him tonight, 32 grams.... That's 10 more than he was when David weighed him. I'll measure him tomorrow, he's burrowed in his blanket sleeping ATM
He's definitely used to life here. He'll eat from both of our hands and he's even glass danced at us a few times. He spends most of his time on his log with his back at the glass watching over the rest of the tank. When he's not there, he likes the rock structure I made him, he also likes to run around. I took him out for about half an hour yesterday, most of which was on my hand but he insisted on getting more comfortable on my shirt ... This guy is the best, I'm so glad I got such an easy one  David, your beardies have awesome temperament. He's been sweet since day one, but after a week it's like I've had him for a year
Forgot to mention this this morning, I woke up to this little guy rubbing his head against his log like a cat. And a few hours later it's peeling real good. YAY! I have a few new pictures I'll try to post tonight. The new furniture I ordered about a month ago is finally here. I got a special dresser just for moose (and one for noodles, of course)... I'll have pics of his final tank location when I finish assembling it (gotta love Ikea).
