Mold...please help!!!

Please help me. I'm not sure if this is where I need to post, but it's kind of an urgent matter. Upon inspecting my beardie eggs this evening, I discovered a little bit of mold on the bottom of one of them. I candled the egg & it looks great. will it be ok? Is there anything I should do? Humidity? Any advice is very much appreciated. Thanks.

Carefully remove all of the eggs and cahnge out the perlite "or what ever your using" and definitley use less moiture to lower the humidity. Are you using a still air incubator or does it have a fan?

I am using a still air. I had 2 unused containers already in the incubator ready for the next clutch. I moved the eggs to one of those that was definately drier. Is that ok? I have raised my humidity recently because of sunken eggs and now they have all plumped out again. I think I just wet the vermiculite too much. Will the baby be ok? Any other suggestions? How often should I check on the baby?

You can try and wipe the mould off with a dry cloth. The baby should be fine, and I definately wouldn't be throwing any of the eggs out unless they completely rot away. I candle my eggs once a week, no more, I think it disturbs the embryo somewhat. The humidity can be quite high, just as long as no condensation is forming on the lid or the eggs.

As far as checking them I would stick to once a week and thouroghly clean the egg and change the vermiculite"or at least a good portion where the mold was forming" and the baby should be ok, just lower your humidity a little and inspect often "as I'm sure you already do" and good luck with everything.

I just walked into my room and instead of looking at me, Swordtail's eyes darted directly to the ice cream drumstick I'm holding
Finally replaced Swordtail's substrate
