Our beardie has become very weak, his limbs trail, he’s trembling, won’t eat, poop or drink. We’ve been to the vet and they’ve ruled out MBD. They said to give him saline injections which we have been as well as changed up his diet, give him regular baths, and changed up his enclosure. He’s just not improving. Can anyone help me? Our vets said his enclosure setup is perfect so we’re stumped.
It could be several issues. Perhaps a neurological problem or atadenovirus. Did the vet test for that? If he's having trouble controlling his limbs or if they're folding under his body, then it may also be muscular dystrophy. If he's not eating or drinking then I'd treat it as a critical situation and check back in with the vet or perhaps work with a specialist at a teaching hospital if you have one in the area. How old is he? How long have you had him?

He’s just over a year old and we’ve had him since he was a baby. We’ve taken him twice now and they aren’t sure. They said perhaps dehydration but the saline injections haven’t done anything.
Ok so the brand and the bulb please and where in the tank is it--- proper placement and distance is key here -- T 5 and T 8's have different placement and distance for the tube to be effective
