15 years ago i got my first bearded dragon. Almost 6 years back i had to give her up to a friend due to health/ pregnancy issues. Never would of thought of having to rescue her back. I haven't seen her in 6 years and when i did, i cried. She was laying in her own poop and could barely move. She was ice cold and only had a tiny heat lamp. She was also in bark chips. Broke my heart! So i told them i am taking her back and they didn't argue. I am slowly nursing her back to health and shes doing pretty well! She is 15 years old and having problems with walking i think due to MBD. They told me they only gave her carrots and lettuce. Oh and crickets once a year....WTF! They stopped taking her out of her cage two years ago because she was trying to bite them. Well duh! I would too! When she saw me she went nuts trying to get to me. She is still as friend ever with me. Doesn't try to bite me and i let her even roam the house! My 5 year old loves her too
Question- Her nails are very very long now, i know most of it can not be trimmed but any ideas? Or should i leave them be? I'm afraid of hurting her because shes so old!
Here's some pictures of her from today outside with us.
Still at the peoples house right before i took her.
Roaming the house after i got her warmed and cleaned up.
