There are currently 38,742 active cases in Western Australia. To 8pm last night, there were 180 people with COVID-19 in hospital, six in ICU. Sadly, one woman in her 80’s who tested positive to COVID-19 has passed away on Sunday, but was reported to WA Health yesterday. Due to patient confidentiality, no further information will be released by the Department on these deaths. There are currently 26,431 active cases in South Australia. Sadly, SA Health can confirm a man in his 50s, a man in his 60s, and a man and woman in their 80s, who tested positive for COVID-19, have passed away. There are 165 people with COVID-19 in hospital, including 11 people in ICU, and two people requiring a ventilator. Of those hospitalised, 108 people are fully vaccinated, 49 people are either unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, and eight have an unknown vaccination status.
