[QUOTE="kingofnobbys, post: 1963133, member: 81934"] Wife and I been in voluntary soc iso at home since Feb 2020. So we celebrated our BDs at home just the 2 of us ( by ordering in special foods - mudcake etc ) , missed kid's and grandkids BDs , only relaxed the soc iso just after Xmas to have son and grandson here for a few days ( Northern Beaches Cluster was unfolding and they were in HARD LOCKDOWN, and Greater Sydney & Central Coast were in Orange Alert , too close to here for comfort ) , and then after they left it was back into soc iso . My wife is much more a social person than me ,so she's been heading off to library ( masked up ) and to do some retail therapy ( masked up ) , me I don't mind soc iso one bit , I have my hobbies , my pet lizards , my research interests to keep me occupied . If your city is in lockdown , it's being done for good reasons , I'd advise following the rules , as it only takes a few people ignoring lockdown to sabotage it and cause a much much longer or a more draconian lockdown.
