Laybox material?

Hi everyone!

Just curious if I can use eco-earth instead of playsand for a laybox because my beardie is showing signs of laying [non-fertile eggs]. I have it on hand and it would be super convenient to not have to go to the store and buy sand. Thanks in advance!

Possibly however it wouldn’t be the best digging substrate. I doubt it would hold her burrows very well.
