Every dragon reacts differently after shipment. Some seem to come out and say " ho hum, where am I , yes I'd love a meal." Others are terrified + just want to hide. Others fall somewhere in between. You may just want to set her gently in her new home + let her warm up + relax for an hour. Then get a small container of lukewarm water about 1/2" deep that you can set right in the tank with her for a short warm bath. After she's dried off + settled in, just drop a bug near her right in with her, see if she wants it. If so, do another, then another up until about 10 - 15 to be sure she has something if she WANTS it, but yet she's not too full after her ordeal. She may not want anything, but then she may want a decent meal. See how she decides.
Thank you
Like I said before, my original intent was to get a super saturated deep colored Beardie. Funny how I change my mind so often
I love her color as well! I see a lot of orange beardes dragons but I don't often see light pink/orange
I'm very excited about her!
Hm that is odd I would think the seller would put one in with her to make sure she;swarm unless if the shippers opened the box up and removed it too see what was being shipped
She's a pretty little thing, I know you're relieved that she made it safely. As far as your question about a heatpack, there would be no need during warm weather. It's far worse for a beardie to be too hot during shipping than to be a little chilly for a few hours.
