How long to wait before putting in background?

I just finished my 2nd background and was wondering how long to wait until I put it into mushu's home. I am not sure how long it takes for the sealent smell to go away and for everything to be beardie safe. I live in the desert so drying and all that goes fairly quick here. I waited a good 2 weeks before I used my first one. any help here would be great, thanks.

Put a fan on it to help speed up the process. It also helps to put it out in the heat. Some sealants will react differently to heat. They might give off fumes at basking temp that weren't there at room temp. Heating it to basking temp or beyond for a little while will help. 3 or 4 days of airing things out with the fan and occasional heat should do it. If you can put your nose to it, then take a big whiff and not smell anything, then you're fine.
