Hi everyone. I just got myself two Juvie Beardies (two days ago). I've been researching them for months and finally went through with it. One is about 7in and the other about 9. I believe they are still too young to sex unfortunatley. They have both been eating crickets fine and some vegies; today was thier first soaking (which was an interesting experience, they didn't seem to enjoy it much).
The smaller of the two is acting a little strange however, it just started doing it today. He is on the bottom corner of the tank and kind of runs back and forth on the side, while appearing to attempt to climb up the glass wall. I have them in a 30 gal tank for now and have a 50 breader ready for when they get a little bigger, followed by a 200 gal when they are adults. I have two good sized logs in there for them to climb and which the other one is enjoying sitting and basking at the top of the root, where the heat lamp shines. But the little one just looks like he is trying to get out. Both are passing stool as far as I can tell and again they both ate well today. Any thoughts or is he just a spaz?
