Shes still the same...but eating, active and such. I was looking at the light and I realized it was a reptisun 5.0...which is odd because it came in a 10.0 box. I switched it out with one of the 10.0's that I have and Im going to call the place I got it from tomorrow. Im sure it was some sort of mix up...but maybe that has something to do with it? As long as she is active and eating im gonna hope that this resolves itself...
People will buy a cheaper bulb and a reptisun 10.0 and then switch the boxes and return the cheap bulb in the reptisun 10.0 box, just to give you (and anyone else) a head's up. Some people will also use them for 90 days (depending on return policy) then return them.

Well that definately can explain it.As Sarah said what they usually do is use the bulb up and then buy a new one and return the old one in the new box.Lack of uvb would possibly be an explanation to the issue sh eis having since she would not be able to synthesize D3 properly.Lets ses if the new bulb changes anything. On a good note I am glad to hear she hasnt declined at all.
Oh good grief doesn't that figure? I am sorry that happened to you. That is actually fairly common. The pet stores do not seem to check that for some reason, either & I don't know why.
The Reptisun 5 is decent but definitely not as strong as the 10 is so that may have alot to do with the problems right now. Hypocalcemia could be largely the issue.
I hope that she is doing much better soon.
Well today she is acting much more normal. Weather it was the light or an ear problem, im not sure, but im glad shes on the mend. It was really worrying me. Thank you guys for all of the help. Im so glad it didnt get worse. Ill let you guys know how she continues to do. Thanks again!

Great she is doing much better today! I know that is very worrisome when their symptoms are so sudden like that. At least she is still eating & active too.
Yes, do let us know how she continues to improve.
She aslo is in full shed...which it seems every other day one of mine is..
And I also wanted to share this!
I know its off topic, but its been a good day between Boomer being better and so far 8 of 22 out with 4 heads sticking out and the rest to still get going.
Great that she is in full shed also! I think she will be fine now. When are you going to get the Reptisun 10?
So you have hatchies poking their heads out now? So cute. I know you must be excited.
I found one at a pet store for a shocking amount of money...
I e-mailed th company I ordered from, and im still waiting to hear back from them.
8 babies out, 3 heads, and 13 eggs to go!!
I am so glad she is doing better that is wonderful.Isnt craxy how much pet stores want for the bulbs? Its such a scam but what can you do?Sometimes your stuck and cand cant wait to have them shipped but it still stings quite a bit.
The babies are adorable! So they are all happy and healthy? You can post those off topic pics anytime as myself and just about ecerybody else here can never get enough pics especially of the wee ones
