Hello Everybody!

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Bret and I'm a 24 year old college student from Cedar City UT. The other day I noticed an add in the school classifieds for a free Bearded Dragon. I jumped right on it and am now the owner of an 8" female(unsure of age) and a 45 gallon tank. I picked up some indoor/outdoor carpet, large driftwood branches, and a 100 watt basking bulb yesterday. A UVB bulb is also in the mail and on it's way.

I have had a lot of experience with a variety of pets but never got into Bearded Dragons. I look forward to learning from the great site you have here.

Welcome! And, yes, same here. I purchased my baby Draggy August 11th but he's still been adjusting to his new home..
Does yours let you pick him/her up to hold yet? Mine wont.. Well, in the morning when he's sleepy he lets me hold him for like, 2 minutes - I gotta learn patience :lol:

I have only held her once, but she seemed a little jumpy. No problems eating crickets from my hand though. It's ok, I'm patient.
