I am so sorry for your loss. I started crying when I read he had passed. Thank you for trying. Like everyone has said, at least he did know love at the end.
You were amazing to take home this little guy to try and show him a real life. It is simply awful that they would neglect an animal this badly. That establishment should be shut down if that is how they treat the animals. It's a shame that he was too far gone when you happened upon him, but at least he received some real attention and care at his end. What you did was a good thing.
I took it upon myself to send an email along with pictures to the corporate office for Petsupermarket.
I named names and told them exactly how it went down and how I acquired it.
It's amazing to me that they employ people who are grossed out by the animals they sell.
This woman wanted nothing to do with him. I had to get him out ofthe tank myself....it's ridiculous.
She also offered me a few crickets to take along with him but also wanted me to get them myself because she was not going in the cricket bin.
Her excuse was that the kid who usually does it was on his days off..
Oh god i hate those retarded PetShops, They do absolutaly N-O-T-H-I-N-G , I donnow how u feel guys, but i would kick taht woman into teh head and fire her!
