Ive never heard of the 'beardie burrito' and im keen to try it as Dexter can be a little monster wriggling all over sometimes.
could anyone post a picture of it?
how tight to i wrap it and do i wrap his tail too?
/ignore.
found the thread with a picture at last ^_^
I hope you got all of the info you need.
I usually just set the blanket flat on the counter,
pick her up and set her on the blanket, fold the sides on top of her. (like a little burrito)
and her tail just sticks out of the end.
i just put pictures up of her in

"she's so Rexy"
George has a fleece hat bed in her tank all the time. It is not near enought the bulb to cause any trouble and she loves sleeping on it (or hides under it sometimes  )

you know something, i was worried about the blanket under the lights as well!! but then when i really thought about it, paper has to be at 451 degrees to even burn doesn't it? i really don't think the blanket could catch even if it was close. or maybe i'm completely wrong about the fire thing, but it seems to have not caused any problems this far. a fleece hat bed?? that sounds too cute.
Maybe i will make Rexy a bed when she is done growing like a little weed. she is just getting SO big i love it! scares my husband... but i love it!
did you try holding him in it? or was it just in his cage? you should try watching a movie or something with him just on your chest in the blankie... feels perfect Im excited he liked it!! Fleece is what i made mine out of, it seems to be comfortable for them. its funny how long rexy will stay in it. She will hang out in there until 1 in the afternoon sometimes if i dont take her out of it. She loves it!
