I read mixed reviews on feeding beardies pinkies so I went to my local reptile shop where I frequent and asked. I was told that its ok to feed him a pinkie once in a while. I bought him one and put it in his cage. He immediately bit it but let it go and soon as it screamed. Now the pinkie is dead but he's not interested in eating it. Does this mean he just doesn't want it or should I try it again??
I don't know about you but having undigested bones in my feces would not be the most comfortable, this is why we aren't supposed to feed pinky mice to our lovely dragons.
There's absolute NO reason to feed your dragon pinkies other then the fact that you as an owner want to see him kill and eat it. It does them no benefit, and can harm them as it's not completely digestible nor even close to anything they would eat in their natural diet.
