I got them today and put some into my cricket bin a couple hours ago. Will update if I notice any negative effects from use, though I think the chances will be slim if at all.
Also, the box is large(20 lbs) and be sure to have a decent amount of space ready for the flats, I have them in a corner of a room under a desk. These flats are probably gonna last me QUITE a while... and it's the cheapest price I've found on the internet.
Indeed it will, my crickets seem just fine after these past few days of using these new egg flats so I'd call it a bargain and a success. Too many places sell egg flats for like 50 cents to a dollar. I wonder how the company makes money. The box was like 3 feet long and 20 pounds heavy, shipping charge for them must have been nuts.
Must just be huge volume and small margins. Shipping is a killer especially for large/heavy objects. Shipping a full size enclosure can almost double the cost depending on the shipping method.
