its been very stormy here in south florida for the past few days. i just wanted to know if my dragon could tell its raining because he seems alot more hyper running back and forth in his cage since the storms started
I don't know the right answer to this question, but in my opinion, I certainly wouldn't be surprised if his behaviour has something to do with the weather! Most animals react to weather in some way or another. (He may also just want to get out and run around a little.)
They do indeed respond to weather. As we probably can guess they can sense the daylight, and from that time of day/year etc. We know the sense heat, and move around acoringly. But they can also respond to pressure aswell. For instance as the pressure, temp and daylight hour decrease, they will start to brumminate.
I wouldnt be surprised if there was a dramatic shift in pressure due to the storms that has him acting kookie!
