They purchased a large cat fish listening to the pet shop person who said it won't eat their other fish. They sold it back to the pet store.
Crested geckos do not need UVB. However, the fact that she planned to put the tank by the window worries me. They are very temperature sensitive, and the sun can heat up the viv to the point that it kills the crestie.suikajusu":3n5m0rvn said:One time I was in PetSmart and a girl had come in to buy a crested gecko. She was buying all the supplies AND the gecko at the same time. The conversation she was having with the salesperson made me so angry. The salesperson kept insisting she needed a UVB light, and she refused to buy one because they were expensive and "the tank would be right by a window" so she didn't think it needed a UVB light. She walked out of the store with the gecko, and no UVB. I felt so bad for that poor little guy
